Nicotine, Cannabis, Vape: A Complex Relationship
This session will explore the connections between these substances, including their individual effects and the potential impact when combined. Participants will discuss the increasing popularity of cannabis being used in vape devices and the risks that it poses to youth.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss the ways in which nicotine and cannabis are commonly used together by youth.
Examine how prevention efforts may be more impactful when both substances are addressed to prevent escalation to regular dual use.
