DTG vs DTF: Is Direct To Garment Dead?

Not all digital printing technologies are alike! While Direct To Film (DTF) and Direct To Garment (DTG) are rooted in the same technology, the capabilities are not the same.

In this video join Dave for the comparisons between DTG and DTF, stocked full of pros and cons to each method of decorating apparel. While both methods are great for print on demand services and online store fulfillment, one of these options may be better for your business.

First, we’ll dive into Direct to Garment printing, which involves printing designs directly onto fabric using specialized (and in some cases- expensive) inkjet printers. We’ll talk about equipment and materials needed for this method and explore its benefits and drawbacks.

    Hello,

which printer do you think is the best DTF?

I have an Oki Pro8432WT A3. The print is hard and rustles to the touch.

    Don't you know a better printer? 🙂 I don't have money for DTG 🙂

    Sorry, I don't speak English very well…
