Between 2019 and 2020, thousands of kids across the US showed up in hospitals with EVALI, a lung disease related to vaping. This sudden rise in the hospitalization of kids was a massive shock to everyone, even to the doctors who were treating them. News outlets, parents, and more had many questions: Why were so many kids suddenly getting EVALI? What was causing them to become ill? Who was behind all of it?
Today, I’m revisiting the story of the counterfeit vape epidemic and telling the untold story of what really happened. I hope you enjoy the video!
