Parliament votes on a motion for the closure of the Israeli embassy in South Africa
Parliament is about to vote on a motion by the EFF calling for the closure of the Israeli embassy in South Africa.
This afternoon, the National Assembly will be voting on whether South Africa should sever ties with Israel.
Meanwhile, the Israeli government has decided to withdraw its diplomatic representative from South Africa.
Last week, South Africa also announced that it had recalled it last remaining diplomats from Tel Aviv

Isn’t it weird that Israel is deemed an apartheid state and yet most of the hostages that were taken by the terrorist Hamas were foreigners living and working freely in Israel. There are almost 2 million Arab Israelis who live freely in Israel although they have teamed up with the antisemitism against their Jewish people in Israel.
This makes South African Jews even more vulnerable to attacks. Maybe it’s time for Jews to consider selling their businesses and moving to Israel or the US. South Africa is no longer a safe place for foreigners, regardless of their race, anyway.
