Are we talking about nicotine products or the elicit thc cartridges that were bought off the street? The guy who was interviewed for the lung damage from it had stated in the interview that he never used nicotine products in his life.also there has never been a case of lung damage or "popcorn lung" from using e-liquid either freebase or salts.purely a tactic used by big tobacco to keep their sales up because vaping has taken over, hence why big tobacco invested in e-cig companies and or own them

Note- this comment is not meant to offend ANYONE, so before you come at me, remember that I am making my comment based on my experiences.

Lungs are made to breathe AIR and nothing else. While I have never smoked ANYTHING, I have a sugar addiction that I fight all day. I can only imagine the struggles of nicotine and THC addiction. My mother has been cigarette free after going cold turkey for 11 years now and never started vaping or anything. I'm so proud of her.

I've been through many stressors in my life. After 29 years of military service and 19 years of law enforcement, Ive been through a multitude of life of death events. Never once did I abuse drugs, alcohol, or smoke anything.

What about the effects of breathing second hand vaping smoke, verses breathing second hand cigarette smoke?
Is vaping the same as smoking from a hookah?
One other concern is if inhaling this vapor create a risk of filling the lungs with fluid / water vapor. which could cause eventual suffacation ?

8 years ago someone gave me a try on an ecigarette, smoked normal cigaretts 20-40 for over 15 years. since that day i did not smoke a single "classicl" cigarette instead i vape since that day. i mix my own liquid without aroma(taste), also i wick my own coils just to be sure whats in it. i feel better, and when someone lights up a cigarete next to me, especialy in a closed room, its a nightmare, my eyes start to burn and i get a headache. once or twice i left a room. cant take smoke anymore. seems to be buch more aggressive, at least to me, and if someone tells me vaping is as bad as smoking then we go and sit him in a room for an evening day 1 – 3 smokers day 2 – 3 vapers. and then judge whats worse. im no doctor, but as i know, the faster the body reacts to a substance, the greater the effect on the body. so for example, if you get bitten by a snake and the poison is realy bad you are dead within minutes, and feel major effects instant after you got bitten. if the poison is not so harmful, you will more likely feel it, and got time to react. there are examples thats for sure, but saying vaping is bad beacvuse someone mixed things in the liquid that were not originaly intended to be in there is like filling diesel fuel in your non-diesel car and complain it got damage

I started smoking in 1966 and after trying tapering down, nicotine gums and patches I finally tried vaping in 2012. At the time I was smoking 2+ packs a day, within 6 weeks I had quit smoking and my health started rapidly improving until I was in better condition than I had been in for at least 20 years.
In the last 12 years I have reduced the nicotione strength of my e-liquid from 24 mg/ml to 1 mg/ml and will probably continue vaping for the rest of my life. I am 72 now.

Please don't confuse nicotine vapes and THC vapes when talking about EVALI. There is no reason to believe nicotine vapes cause EVALI. Nicotine vapes are less harmful than cigarettes, and smokers should be aware of this fact, so they make the best decision.

Curious, what are the effects of using dry herb vapes without the cartridge? What are the effects of using other substances for dry vapes such as mint, moringa, green tea, chamomile herbs, etc.? If one were to mix thc with other dry herbs is it still very harmful?

Are the dry herb devices known for releasing harmful toxins? Is the vape ,conduction tool, itself harmful? Does the heat or vapor cause injury to the lungs?

Vaping is 95% safer than smoking. If someone wants to get off the cancer sticks, I recommend vaping. Patches, gum, pouches, all fucking pathetic as a substitute. Vaping saves lives, including mine. I no longer have any breathing issues while vaping, like I did when smoking cigarettes.

The long term argument keeps falling short , ive been vaping for 15 years which to me classifies as long term. Ive never once experienced the pains i did when smoking with a vape , my smokers cough is gone, my sense of smell is back and generally i have had nothing but improvements.

I think sometimes the issues caused by treating an illness are less severe than the illness itself, I have Asperger’s and my brain is a nightmare at times, I get super sound and light sensitivity and experience lucid consciousness and sometimes it takes a while for my brain to reboot them it’s another two to three week mental decline then this over processing that makes my brain struggle to shut down, people are effected differently by illnesses and I have always been prescribed benzodiazepines for my anxiety issues when I’ve not slept for sometimes ten days and and I’m partially hallucinating and I experience like multiple mini seizures then it’s eventually turns into a large seizure and this is when I’m at my better point as my brain has restarted or processed whatever the useless information it stored on its own, I have libraries of information in my mind that’s completely useless and I never intended on most of it, like you can as me how many piston revolutions I’ve heard in my life and that’s just one example of the info storage that totally overwhelms my brain, I have other things I choose to do such as reading all information on food products and just knowledge that stuff I can make a reasonably accurate guess on the calories, fat, sugar/carbohydrates fat, saturated fat, protein and salt content even if I’m just looking at an item I can probably get it 90% accurate at minimum, but it’s s nightmare, I’m badly effected by my illness, people think they want to have this because you can do a Rubik’s cube behind your back or what I hated most was people think I’m some dancing bear asking me like how many seconds is in such a specific amount of years, months and days to show people who don’t know me and it’s annoying, I don’t have an ego on something, that first isn’t even me doing anything it’s no effort so I don’t respond to praise as I don’t believe I did anything all that impressive and I also don’t want this, it’s an illness that was really good when I was a teen and in my early 20s I smashed it in the world but as I got to my late 20s and now I’m 32 my condition effects me really bad, but maybe trauma kicked it off as my girlfriend I was about to marry died right beside and I failed to save her, anyway my point is I never liked cannabis like weed or anything like mind trippy, it makes me super anxious, but I accidentally used a 99% THC vape because this guy I know couldn’t get this vape to turn on, I showed him that use the air input sensor like a button I gave it like three inhales and it turned on and it had a pineapple on it and I assumed it was a pineapple flavoured vape. I remember smoking it and he said , ”they are nice aren’t they” and I was smoking it saying yes it’s ok but in my head I’m like what the hell it doesn’t taste like a nice pineapple flavour like an elf bar or something it was like chemically tasting, anyway I though maybe it’s the elements protective layer popped and maybe the nice flavour will come soon, then the guy tell me that the vape was 99% THC and I was like WHAT!!! I basically ran home as I thought I was in for hours of crippling anxiety but to my amazement I actually felt really good, like my brain was just like as calm as it was one as a child, I slept like a log and I felt great when I woke up, I’ve optimistically tried all medication and it’s ether not worked at all or it’s only effective so long then I have an addiction that does nothing to help me on top of all my issues, but this thing is a non medical thing, discovered and developed by the people and not the medical establishment who want to keep selling you so called treatments, and really a silver bullet cure is their worst nightmare especially when it was the people and nature, nothing to do with the medical establishment I have found a medicinal treatment that’s not addictive and all but cured everything I said was wrong with me, whatever is in THC my brain must need it

Here is a thought! 95% of vapers dont go anywhere near THC or Vitamin E acetate yet 94% of the instances of lung issues have come from people vaping cannabis/CBD/etc. Your video content is 70% related to people and circumstances relating to THC and cannabis which is not relevant for us 95% of vapers that don't touch the stuff. The Royal College of Surgeons in the UK suggest that vaping is 95% safer than smoking – 4000+ chemicals and burning by-products including carbon monoxide, tar etc in CIGARETTES Vs PG, VG and flavouring in VAPING. Notice I have not mentioned nicotine which surprise surprise is no worse than caffeine health-wise if you do the research. So my point is – the title of your video is OK but the content is actually confusing and warped. This video could have been 15seconds long – If you vape THC there are considerable risks to your lung health and if you vape reputable nicotine based e-juice we are not sure of the long term effects yet but in the short term the indications are that it could be up to 95% safer than smoking cigarettes. Better to do neither!!!

Zero new insights or information from this video. Vitamin E acetate was almost immediately linked as the cause of people hospitalized from vaping problems and, at least with regard to reputable juice brands, is SOLELY used in THC-containing liquids. It is used, because THC is not water soluble. It is fat (oil) soluble. So the vitamin E acetate is what allows the THC to remain dissolved and evenly distributed in the liquid. In traditional nicotine juices, there are typically only 3 ingredients, and whatever they use for flavoring. Propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, and nicotine. That's it. The few studies that I've seen that detected metals and such, were testing cheap liquids from China. I challenge you to show me data on people who were hospitalized with vaping issues, that used ONLY nicotine juice from American, Canadian, or European companies.

Vaping has helped me dramatically. Tried patches plenty of times didn't work. Now here in Australia our government is banning vaping matter it effects 1.6m people who currently vape. Only interested in the loss of tax revenue from the decline in cigarette sales. Corruption at its finest.
