Durban night life on the weekends something to really be around, the vibes fill you with so much positive energy, everything is just calm an you get the sea breeze that hits you in your face, calm sea breeze. No need for a jacket at night.

Durban is actually very safe, and that's because though it is a CBD, it is also a residential area with a dense population. It has great spots to visit, one of them being
Suncoast Casino which has its own sets of night clubs and so forth. It is an east coast city so there's also the beachside (north and south), you'll find many surfers there and so forth. You'll also find cannabis shops that open till 10pm in some places
Yes people consume alcohol openly, but that's just KZN altogether. The streets of Durban can also get dangerous at night, lot of street kids, even pick pockets, but so long as you're on a street with open establishments you ought to be fine.

One of the most dangerous cities in South Africa together with Jo'burg, but my favorite city in South Africa is Johannesburg though because of Orlando Pirates baby, love from Okahandja, central Namibia 🇳🇦
