Bobby, next time you go (and you should check SA out again, particularly Cape Town and Durban), dont' take Auston. This is what EVERYBODY is telling you. You had fun, and he was acting miserable and chasing women off. Get that social circle thing going, have fun, visit the universities, White and Mixed clubs for a different vibe, go to the markets. Clubbing and women are fine, but I think if you mix things up you'll have an even better time and may be able to make your own contacts down there.

Moral of the story – nightlife in any Westernized country will be questionable at best. I don't care what continent. I think what you're mainly left with at this point is the Latin countries, a few African countries, and maybe a handful in Europe. It's just very bizarre. Like people go out for the aesthetics. They like to be around people, but don't want to talk to other people outside their group. It's a very selfish mindset really. Wish they would all just stay at home rather than take up space. It's like we're all back in high school again. I don't understand how people find getting some private section, paying 10x the price you'd normally pay for a bottle of liquor, and only talking to people who you already know to be that fun
SA looks like a great country. I actually been there (cape town) and had a blast. Don't understand why Auston don't like it that much.
